EXPERIENCE
2003 – DATE Technical Director position at a Vegetable Tanning Extract manufacturing company for the standardisation of the
extracts, including the production of modified new products for
leather industry.
Visits to Spain, Italy and P.R.China for demonstration
and technical service.
1993 – 2002 Product development and quality control responsibility in a domestic company manufacturing wet–end and finishing
chemicals for leather industry.
Including consultancy and technical service within the sister
Companies of the group which represent foreign companies
as Technical Coordinator.
Between 1998 and 2002, for the marketing of local chemicals,
frequent visits to Pakistan and P.R.China with technical teams were realised to garment/shoe-upper/doble-face tanneries
where practical courses and demonstrations conducted.
Meanwhile, R&D activities continued in collaboration with
related Ýnstitutions.
Part–time lecturing on Leather technology to the students of Leather Eng. Dept. of Kadir Has University.
- Technical Manager position in a joint venture project between
Russian Federation and a Turkish company for the leather production complex at Mohackale – Daghestan.
Preparation of feasibility reports, technology selection,etc. were performed.
The project cancelled due to the disagreement between the parties.
1990 – 1991 In 1990 passed to private sector with a start of marketing of
foreign leather chemicals and machinery together with the
consultancy and field–service to Turkish tanners.
1987 – 1990 Continuation in Leather Research and Training
Institute–Pendik for the development of Turkish leather
industry together with the colleagues in the Institute.
Main responsibilities (activities) consisted, training
technicians, extension/field sevice, applied R&D.
- Assigned by the Ministry of Industry–Republic of
Indonesia with the coordination/support of IDB, in order to assist the development of small–scale leather tanning, footwear and leathergoods industries in Indonesia.
Direct practical demonstrations were made to teach the production of higher quality products in restricted conditions.
Technical courses on shoe – upper, clothing and sole – leather productions at different clusters (regions) of Java were conducted to tanners. Reports were submitted to the Ministry for the implementation of recommendations.
Development courses organised for 40 Leather Tech./Eng.
1974 – 1985 Leather Research and Training Institute – Pendik,
responsibilities on lecturing to leather technicians
training, raw stock improvement methods, new leather
processing methods, applied R&D on different subjects,
extension/field service to tanners.
During the continuation of the UNIDO Project between
1975 and 1982 worked together with distinguished (eminent)
experts/consultants on leather technology / chemistry and on
relevant subjects and gained a wide spectrum of experience.
